Pastors calling for your death!
THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — I had to scrap my last post and make a new photo array because now there is news of a fourth pastor calling for the death of LGBT people. I know this may seem like repetitive reporting, but we cannot let this behavior go unchallenged otherwise it’ll become normalized in our society.
The previous three were: Charles L. Worley, Pastor of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, North Carolina, Mississippi state Rep. Andy Gipson, who is reportedly a minister at an undisclosed Baptist church, and Pastor Curtis Knapp of New Hope Baptist Church in Seneca, Kansas. The latest is Pastor Dennis Leatherman at Mountain Lake Baptist Church in Oakland, Md. He is intrigued by the idea of killing effeminate and GLBT people:
“To be… have a tendency to be effeminate or homosexual is just as wicked as to have a tendency to be a womanizer. Sinful nature does not justify sinful behavior. Now what is our take? What is our response? I appreciate your bearing with me tonight. First of all, there is a danger of reacting in the flesh, of responding not in a scriptural, spiritual way, but in a fleshly way. Kill them all. Right? I will be very honest with you. My flesh kind of likes that idea. But it grieves the Holy Spirit. It violates Scripture. It is wrong.”
Two more pastors, two different states, advocate for the killing of gays – LGBTQ Nation.

The sky is falling alert: An LGBT (and Muslim, immigrant, gender nonconforming, pro-choice women and doctors, then what–”sodomists”, “adulterers”. people of color, Jewish, other non-Christian, single mothers, YOU?) HOLOCAUST on the horizon? Don’t dismiss the idea, my friends. This is how it progresses–I won’t say start anymore because it’s already started. Wake the FUCK up! These men must be denounced! This is hate speech, and it’s incendiary like yelling “fire” in a crowded building. They must be prosecuted. Calling for the death of a group of marginalized people is NOT protected speech!
You are so right, Lexie. It is not at all repetitive, it is in fact a scary trend. Holocaust? Could be if left unchecked. We must share this info as broadly as possible so ‘middle america’ is alerted to the insanity of SOME Christian (sic) religious leaders. Here’s an idea; preachers should be licensed like Doctors, instead of allowing any loon to pick up a Bible and start spouting hateful nonsense. Then they could be disbarred and charged w/ a (hate)crime! At any rate, if these dangerous idiots are held up to the light (like you’re doing) we can see what they are full of.

As I read this and others like it I am reminded of several Scriptures that could be used in rebuttal but realizing that ,like it or not, we are brothers and sister with the same Father I found my spirit move in a different direction. Jesus said that we would be recognized by the love we showed for one another, He also said that He was the path of life and we were to follow His example, He sais not to judge because that was the measure by which we would be judged and only the Father had that right, He lambasted the hypocritical religious leaders of the day for leadiing God’s children to destruction and finally said that not all who used His name would gain admission into the kingdom seems it takes more than a membership card in His eyes. All of thes are “red letter” quotes from the Son of God and if they won’t heed His words then mine will be even more futile and useless. I would remind them tough that judgement ALWAYS begins in the house of God first and most severely. By the way I am a 62 yr old very passionate Christian woman who was created in the womb by God to be born as a male and later to become this beautiful transexual daughter of His own design. If anyone wishes to respond or contact me I am very open to it.

The premis of this post is mistaken, if the Pastor’s closing comments are taken at face value “Kill them all. Right? I will be very honest with you. My flesh kind of likes that idea. But it grieves the Holy Spirit. It violates Scripture. It is wrong.” he is stating that while his body might like the idea, it is against scripture and is wrong to do.
Oh! That makes it okay then. I mean, if it’s just PART of him that wants to senselessly murder people who have never done anything to harm him, but he doesn’t do it because JEE ZUS says not to, then it’s justified.

this is appalling for leaders of their communities to spread hate and intolerance. I feel this is a lack of character were is their compassion.They have left that at the door so they may feel holier then thou and judge those that are different from them. Hate is Hate no matter how it maybe justified . I have always wondered what would happen if one of these pious individuals lay dying on an emergency room table and found out on of the doctors, nurses or a good samaritan were gay trans or lesbian. What if one had given mouth to mouth or a trans fusion or such what would happen to that person would they be excumunicated denounced from there god or church would they burn or be hanged also for being defiled by a person as i. The group they are persucuting may one day save their lives, karma has a way of showing up unexpectingly.
Why is anyone surprised
, this is just the sickness of religion.
I can tell them a couple of things, first, the words “Trans”, “Homosexual”, “Lesbian” and “Gay” are not even written in ANY scripture or Bible! The second thing to say is that it’s all a bunch of lies started by some religious fanatics with their hatred which is called hate speech no matter how everyone looks at it!
