THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — Of course, FOX News contributor Steven Crowder doesn’t quite make it clear that your daughter choose to fight Fallon Fox in a mixed martial arts sport where the attraction for many fans is the spectacle nature of it all.

Steven Crowder bills himself as a comedian. Still, as a comic piece, I didn’t find his article, “Mixed Martial Arts fighter Fallon Fox shouldn’t be allowed to beat up women,” all that funny either. Maybe it’s a FOX News thing that only FOX News viewers get. Comedians and FOX News though, are synonyms.

The piece was written for no other reason to exploit trans people in order to generate revenue for FOX News. With no election in sight, a president enjoying high ratings and the Republican party becoming unglued, FOX News has returned to society’s marginalized populations for seemingly easy pickings to exploit into stories.

For FOX News and other media that exploits trans people, those days are coming to an end as trans people continue to rack up legal victories and other legislative gains.

FOX-TV’s Bill O’Reilly, Megyn Kelly mocks transgender inmate’s appearance

THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — In some ways, Bill O’Reilly, a commentator for FOX News and host of The O’Reilly Factor has outed himself by revealing he does not research facts before he speaks — O’Reilly did not even know transgender inmate Michelle Kosilek had yet to have the sex reassignment surgery she won in a court case until after he unloaded on her. It was co-host Megyn Kelly who noted that Kosilek did not have the surgery, however, she also participate in the transphobic barrage on Kosilek.

Kosilek, of course, is the Massachusetts prisoner, who recent won a court ruling on her “cruel and unusual punishment” claim. Read more about that here:

I’m going to spare everyone the what was specifically said on the show but I do want to reaffirm for every one of the fact that FOX-TV and Bill O’Reilly, will mock, shock and exploit transgender people to make money for themselves. Sadly, this now includes Megyn Kelly.

Regular readers know the consequences of this transphobic behavior is devastating for trans people.

THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — No surprise here, really. Promoting fear for ratings is just part of the game for O’Reilly. In fact, he’s probably already moved on beyond this, planning his next topic to exploit for ratings.

If anyone of you reading this is still watching Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor, right now would be a good time to quit, especially if you watch online. Ratings are easily measured online, so let’s not contribute to keeping him on the air.

From Media Matters: “Throughout the [O'Reilly Factor] segment, O’Reilly and [Gretchen] Carlson criticized Glee for encouraging “dopey kids” to experiment with homosexuality and possibly identify as transgender, comparing LGBT youth to smokers and “drug-fueled” celebrities.”

“Dopey kids”, huh? C’mon Bill, have a political debate with Al Franken or something . . . anything besides exploiting trans kids. Didn’t you learn anything last year when your fear mongering about Chas Bono backfired and a boatload of professionals put you in your place over the lack of evidence supporting your claims? No, I guess not.

Liz Trotta to female GIs: Got raped in the military? — What did you expect?

THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — This was said by FOX New’s Liz Trotta — her reasoning? — close contact with male GIs. This nonsense is so elementary that even fifth graders can quickly point out to Ms. Trotta that there is no expectation of rape from close contact with males elsewhere, for instance, with coworkers, colleagues and in social settings.

But wait, Trotta wasn’t done yet — she pointed blame at feminists who wanted “to be warriors and victims at the same time.” . . .

“You have this whole bureaucracy upon bureaucracy being built up with all kinds of levels of people to support women in the military who are now being raped too much.”

I could quote more, but you’ve the gist. We could call for Trotta’s head, but it’s FOX News. What did you expect?

TV show “Fox and Friends” mocking transgender people for ratings?

Elmo, reporting for FOX News. (This is the level of seriousness one should give to all things FOX News.

THE GUERRILLA ANGEL REPORT — Criticizing gender-neutral housing on college campuses, the hosts of “Fox & Friends” recently said:  “you may not feel too secure” and “if you have kids in college, I got two girls there right now and this is an eye opener.”

This, of course, is FOX News, where regular smearing of transgender people is the norm. Most recently from them was their “repulsion” of  Chaz Bono on Dancing With The Stars and the resulting dispensing of bad medical advice to viewers of the show.
